Mr. Thomas "Tampa Tom" Ellington, age 46, a resident of Potter Drive in Columbia, passed away on Saturday, January 23, at his residence.
Services for Mr. Ellington will scheduled at a later time.
Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
Born on October 21, 1963 in Tampa, FL, he was the son of the late Joanne Purdy Black and the husband of Hope Bennett Ellington. Mr. Ellington retired from the Pepsi Bottling Company in Tampa, FL. and was a veteran of the US Coast Guard.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Amy Hardy of Columbia, Allisha Alvarez, Heather Alvarez and Christopher Alvarez, all of FL.; brothers: Chip Palco of TX. and Joey Palco of FL.; grandchildren: Hunter Hardy and Ethan Hardy, both of Lawrenceburg, Damian Moran and Elijah Moran, both of FL.; canine companions: Sam and Muffin.
