Mr. Thomas L. Henson, 73, a resident of the Mt. Joy Community, died Monday, June 16, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Henson will be conducted Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Wright oficiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Thomas Luther and Henrietta Hunt Henson. He was the husband of the late Myrtle Christine Kennedy Henson who died in 2001. He was a retired machine operator for Conalco and attended the Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Darryl Massey of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Roy Pam Henson of Summertown; two granddaughters, Casey Henson and Miranda Henson both of Summertown; two step grandsons, Thomas Jacob Love of Summertown and Andrew Massey of Mt. Pleasant; three great grandchildren, Cara Marie Hannah, Thomas Bradley Love, and Hayle Love all of Summertown; a sister, Allie McNabb of Hampshire; two brothers, George Henson and Jimmy Henson both of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Massey, Jacob Love, David Estes, and Thomas McNabb. Honorary pallbearers will be staff of NHC/ Columbia Health Care, Howard LeMay, Sonny Cummins, Harold Corter, Frank Ray, Paul Ray, Jr., and former employees of Conalco.
