Mr. Thomas Harris Andrews, age 78, a resident of Hwy. 166 North in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, April 28, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Andrews will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Gilley Andrews and Bro. Johnny Parrish officiating. Burial will following in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the U.S. Air Force.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late James Herman and Mary Dark Andrews and the husband of the late Edith Decker Andrews. He was a retired Tech Sargent from the U.S. Air Force, retired from KY Fried Chicken as a QSC inspector and was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by three daughters: Linda Singh, Cathy James Siegel and Debbie Moore, all of Mt. Pleasant; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son: James Andrews; brothers, James Andrews and Horace Andrews; sisters: Lucille Taylor, Martha Hines, Ruth Parrish, Mae Corvin and Mildred Ferguson.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Vaughn, Forrest Voorhees, David Cox, James Siegel, Scotty Shrader and Dow Corvin. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Gibran Naddy and the staff of Core Physicians, Dr. Moataz Toban and Dr. Jacques Hiebig.
