Thomas Calton

Thomas Granville “T.G.” Calton, of Summertown, born on June 21, 1985, in Columbia, TN, passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 37.

 He is survived by his daughters, Erika and Shiloh Calton, and Angel Greene, as well as his mother, Sandra Hyde, and his father and stepmother, Stony and Charlyn Calton. He is also survived by his brother, Richie (Brandy) Calton, stepbrother, Chris (Ani) Woods, stepsister: Gina Michael and the mother of his children: Elizabeth Greene. T.G. was preceded in death by his stepfather, Clyde Hyde.

 
He cherished his daughters above everything. They were his baby girls and his best friends. 

T.G. was an avid fan of football, basketball, and most sports. He enjoyed fishing with his family as well as gardening. 

Despite his illness, T. G. remained positive and continued to enjoy life as much as possible. He battled cancer and fought bravely to the end. He will be remembered as a kind and loving father, brother, and son. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

 Pallbearers will be Joe Calton, Daniel Williams, Brent Blackwood, Josh Runnels, John Adkins and Ricky Mabry. Honorary pallbearers at Thomas's funeral will be his cousins, and many friends, especially those at Summertown School.
A service for T.G. will be Friday, April 7, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with Tony Pogue officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to the start of the service Friday, April 7, 2023, at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Thomas Granville Calton will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
