Theresa Mckennon Smith

Mrs. Theresa McKennon Smith, 48, a resident of Cecil Farm Road near Mt.Pleasant, died Sunday March 28, 2004 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be conducted Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. William Owens officiating. Entombment will be in the Polk Memorial Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Garden City, Michigan, she was the daughter of Arthur and Patricia Cothran McKennon. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Cathy Carl Lovett of Mt. Pleasant; four brothers, Jackie Sharon McKennon of Summertown, Buddy Sandra McKennon, Eddie Ruby McKennon and David Jannette McKennon, all of Mt. Pleasant; maternal grandmother, Ruby Cothran of Hampshire; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Blake Lovett, Alan Lovett, J.J. McKennon, Buddy McKennon, Jr., Kevin McKennon, Phillip Wilson, Mike Goats, Brad King and Ray Chapman.
