Mr. Theodore H. Schult, age 87, a resident of Zimmerman Road in Hampshire, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his residence.
No services are scheduled at this time. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of the arrangements.
Born October 23, 1921 in Ihlienwoth, Germany, Mr. Schult was the son of the late Ernst and Alma Richter Schult and the husband of Carol Dolan Schult. He was a chemical engineer with Lummas in Houston, TX. He served in the US Army as a Medic, was a member of the Tenth Mountain Division of the US Army and of the Lutheran faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Jane Culver of Joplin, MO, Tom Schult of New Orleans, LA, Peter Schult of Irmo, SC, Nancy Schult of Las Vegas, NV and Christine Neu of Bigfork, MT; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
