Teresa Sanders Hooten

January 31, 1948 — March 12, 2007

Mrs. Teresa Sanders Hooten, age 59, a resident of Blue Branch Road in Lynnville passed away Monday, March 12 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hooten will be conducted Thursday, March 15 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 pm at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of Betty Elizabeth Norman Sanders and the late Ralph N. Sanders and the wife of Ray Hooten. She was a homemaker and a member of Richland Baptist Church. NaNa lived her life for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Karen Sammy Boehms of Columbia; two sons, Keith Angie Hooten of Kilmichael, MS and Kevin Kim Hooten of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Ralph Melanie Sanders of Sikeston, MO and Ricky Sanders of Columbia; grandchildren, Megan Davey Fowler, Kelsie Boehms and Lisa Jamie Smith, all of Columbia, Briley Kay Hooten of Kilmichael, MS, Jessica Hooten and Keith Hooten, Jr., both of Denham Springs, LA, Tabitha Brown, Courtney Brown and Dakotah Brown, all of Mt. Pleasant; great grandchildren, Hannah Boaz, Harley Fowler, Gracie Fowler, Shelby Smith and Dylan Smith, all of Columbia, Desiree Hooten and Destiny Hooten, both of Denham Springs, LA; several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Linda Davis, Janice Molliere, Mary Jane Cathey, Kathy Fuchs, Sara Weber and Iris Frey.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hooten, Jimmy Hooten, Davey Fowler, Harold Hooten, Jeff Hooten, Chris Hooten and Sammy Boehms.
