Teresa Compton, age 48, of Oldsmar, FL passed away Monday, January 13, 2014.
Teresa was born May 25, 1965, in Kokomo, IN. She worked for General Motors in Spring Hill, TN for 18 years, and worked for Gerdau Ameristeel in Knoxville, TN before being transferred to Tampa, FL. Teresa was a great friend, an awesome grandmother, and known to be the greatest mother ever. She would do anything for anybody, and always gave people the benefit of the doubt. She played softball at Saturn, and may have been seen doing cartwheels across the soccer field after her daughter’s victories. She was a hard worker, holding 2 jobs most all of her life. She loved music, cooking, reading, and was an aspiring author.
Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Brumley of Windfall, IN.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Lindsy Rae Carson and husband Patrick Carson of Columbia, TN; granddaughter, Caitleigh Raye Ball of Columbia, TN; mother, Connie Guy of Kokomo, IN; brother, Scott Brumley of Greentown, IN; sisters, Rhonda Lindsey and husband Larry Lindsey of Beavertown, OR, Donna Williams and husband Rich Williams of Windfall, IN and many other loving relatives and friends including “Tiki Barber” & “Bobby Winston.”
Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home 2517 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401, on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon January 25, 2014, at Williams Funeral Home with burial to follow at Polk Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
