Teresa Ann Trybalski, age 48, Columbia, TN, was born April 24, 1963 in Baltimore, MD and died February 9, 2012 after a long battle with brain cancer. Teresa leaves a legacy of loving others unconditionally, and her acts of kindness were shared by many at work, in the community, and at church. During her lifetime, she served on parish councils in catholic churches in Michigan and Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Columbia. She was a member of the 10:30 contemporary choir and Ladies Group at Saint Catherine, and was known to volunteer her time, treasures, and talents at many church functions. She not only gave in life, but also in death as an organ donor. Teresa strongly supported organ donation, and a part of her will live on in others. She also excelled in the professional world, working for Electronic Data Systems in Michigan and Spring Hill, TN, and ending her career as a Senior Business Analyst with Asurion in Nashville, TN.
A graduate of Niceville High School in Niceville, FL, Teresa went on to complete her education at Okaloosa-Walton Jr. College and the University of Southern Mississippi. Later in life, she completed her MBA at Middle Tennessee State University. Education was very important to Teresa, and she shared her love of learning by participating in a mentoring program for young women soon after arriving in Tennessee.
Family, friends, and co-workers remember Teresa as someone who would light up a room when she walked in, and they remember her infectious laugh that could be heard for miles. Preceded in death by her father Lawrence Weitzel, she leaves behind her loving husband: Bob Trybalski of Columbia, mother: Julia Weitzel of Niceville, FL, brother: Lawrence A. Weitzel of Niceville, FL, sister: Julie Patrick McDermon, nephew: Joseph Harris of Freeport, FL, and other extended family members, and her dachshund: Indy.
Visitation with the family will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home, Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, TN. A Rosary will prayed at 5:30 p.m. A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 10 a.m at the St. Catherine Catholic Church. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Heritage Gardens, Niceville, FL at a later date.
