Ted Junior Swader

Ted Junior Swader, age 72, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Ted was born April 13, 1945 to the late Ted Swader and the late Alice Tilda “Mitchell” Swader.
Ted Swader was a man of great charisma and personality. This showed through in everything that he did in life. Ted was a hard worker. When his children were very young, Ted was a truck driver. As his children grew older, Ted began a career as a fruit vendor. With typical “Ted” humor, he coined himself the title, “Fruit Peddler”. Everyone that met him loved him. And how could they not? He would do his best to help anyone whenever and however he could. Above all else he valued his family and took overwhelming pride in them. Ted is well loved and will be dearly missed.
Ted is survived by his sons: Teddy Ray Swader and David (Cheryl) Schnepp; daughters: Karen (Chad) Danter, Tammy (Gary) Weber, Kellie Swader, and Kim (Ed) Little; grandchildren: Miranda Swader, Austin Swader, Matthew Dotson, Alice Danter, Malorie (Jordan) Adcock, Ben Danter, Bailey Weber, Tim Spence, Alyssa (Kirk) Kirkland, Ethan Little, Thomas Schnepp and Alex Schnepp.; and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family will have a gathering at Riverwoods Church, at a later date and Ted will be entombed at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tn.
