Tammy Grooms Mcneese

Tammy Grooms McNeese, age 48, passed away at her home in Lynnville, TN, Sunday, November 17, 2013.

Tammy was a loving mother to her three sons and never turned away a person she thought she could help. Known for her generous spirit and outgoing nature, Tammy struggled with health issues in the final years of her life. But she never stopped cherishing her family.

Tammy was born January 19, 1965, to Glenn and Doris Spires Grooms. She graduated form Mt. Pleasant High School in 1983. She was a former employee of Maury Regional Hospital. She was a member of Lynnville United Methodist Church.

Tammy is survived by her Sons: Daniel (Candy) McNeese, Justin McNeese and Peyton Keathley; Brother: Danny (Michelle) Grooms; Nephew: Aaron Grooms; Niece: Katie Grooms; and Special Friends: Lisa Seacrest and Angie Jett, and Morris McNeese, Daniel and Justin’s father.

She is preceded in death by two sets of Grandparents: Roy and Etta Grooms; and James and Maggie Spires; and her Granddaughter: Nevaeh McNeese.

The family will visit with friends Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Williams Funeral Home Columbia from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. also at Williams Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. George McDowell, Pastor Kevin Hood, and Danny Grooms.

Pallbearers will be Roy Grooms, Tony Grooms, Arnold Grooms, Aaron Grooms, Charles Grooms, and Tim Pashchall.
Honorary Pallbearers are the members of Lynnville United Methodist Church.
