Sylvia Grooms Pigg

Mrs. Sylvia Myrl Grooms Beckenbach Pigg, 65, a resident of Fly Road in the Santa Fe Community, died Saturday, November 1, 2003 at Columbia Care and Rehabilitation Center
Funeral services for Mrs. Pigg will be conducted Monday, November 3, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Michael Williams and Donnie King officiating. Burial will be in the Summertown Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Robert and Maggie Norman Grooms. She was the wife of Leland Pigg of the Santa Fe Community. She was retired from Creekwood Manufacturing Company and a member of the Water Valley Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Becky Lester Skelton of Hohenwald, TN; a son, Rickey Lesa Beckenbach of Columbia, TN; two step daughters, Brenda Damon Jones of White Bluff, TN and Tanya Jonathan Lewis of Murfreesboro, TN; three step sons, Ricky Pigg of Sylvia, TN, Shane Pigg of Dickson, TN, and Heath Pigg of Santa Fe, TN; three sisters, Linda Aydelotte of Warren, MI, Floye Roger Malugin of Mt. Pleasant, TN , and Joye Danny Davidson of Columbia, TN; six brothers, Bobby Janice Grooms of Columbia, TN, Jimmy Priscilla Grooms of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Casey Grooms of Murray, KY, Ronald Grooms of Columbia, TN, Donald Maxine Grooms of Columbia, TN, and Leon Grooms of Warren, MI; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Gene Pigg, Dale Pigg, Heath Pigg, Justin Skelton, Jerry Brunson, Paul Vaughn, Buddy Grooms, and Michael Grooms.
