Mrs. Suzette Stevenson Haley, 58, a resident of Blackberry Ridge Lane in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Graveside services for Mrs. Haley will be conducted Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Memphis Memorial Gardens, 6444 Raleigh-LaGrange Road in Memphis, TN with Arthur Hanes officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Born in Lawrence, KS, she was the daughter of John Roberts and Mryna Miller Stevenson, of Memphis, and wife of Odis Haley. She was co-owner of Old South Shutters & Blinds with her husband. She graduated from University of Tennessee Textiles & Designs, University of Kentucky Clothing & Merchandising. She did interior decorating and designs, attended numerous art workshops. She won best of show at the Mid South Fair in Memphis and numerous awards at other art shows. She was a member of Collegeview Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter, Donna Harold Collier of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Nathan Kevi Haley of Franklin; two brothers, David R. Donna Stevenson of Greer, SC and Kent M. Laura Stevenson of Canton, GA ;six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Elton and Mary Haley of Edna, TX, Joe and Jane Haley of Henderson, TX, Roy and Lillie Morgan of Mesquite, TX, and Edna Cahill of Henderson, TX; five nieces and nephews.
