Steven Wayland Stohl, age 68, passed away July 23, 2019 at Williamson Medical Center.
He was born March 6, 1951 to the late Frank Wayland and Velma Adcock Stohl. Steven retired after serving the United States of America for 24 years as First Sgt. in the Army Reserve. He was a member of CVMA Combat Vet Motorcycle Association Chapter 18-5 and Cross Country Cowboy Church.
He is survived by his wife: Suzanna “Suzi” Stohl of Columbia, Tennessee; daughters: Laura (David) Fox of Indiana; Pam ( Michael) Minnehan of Columbia, Tennessee; and Beverly Jean Morgan of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandsons: Daniel (Bethany) Fox of Indiana, and Taylor Minnehan of Columbia, Tennessee; granddaughter: Kelly Fox of Arizona; sister: Marcia Gooch of Michigan; brother: Tex Stohl of Iowa; nieces: Janis (Joris) Hall of Illinois, and Allison (Kevin) Lackey of Missouri; nephew: Eric (Milena) Stohl of Oklahoma; aunt: Jane Adcock of Illinois; and numerous cousins.
Services will be Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia at 6:00 PM with A.K. Robinette officiating. Family will visit with friends from 4:00 PM to until time of service at 6:00 PM. Military Honors will be presented by the American Legion Post 19.
