Steven "Daniel Boone" Davis

Steven Wayne "Daniel Boone" Davis, age 50, a resident of Springfield, TN and longtime resident of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, February 11th , 2011, in Alabama.
Funeral services for Steven will be conducted Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Bob Mullenex and Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Adairville, Kentucky.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 5:00 -9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Steven was born Nov. 28, 1960 in Lawrence County, the son of Howard and Wanda Goad Davis and the husband of Beverly Baldwin Davis. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School in 1979. Steven worked for the Alabama Power Company in Wilsonville, AL. and was working through Nashville Carpenters and Millwright Union. He was of the Baptist Faith .
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Jennie Jason White of Summertown and Allen Andrea Davis of Hampshire; grandchildren: Austin White, Kayelee White of Summertown and Christopher Allen Davis of Hampshire; brothers: Michael Debbie Davis of Culleoka, Warren Vivian Davis of Columbia and James "Rusty" Christy Davis of Summertown; a sister: Sharon Jim Johnson of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, William and Virgie Goad, Sr.; paternal grandparents:, Clifford and Pearlie Davis; an uncle, William W. Goad, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Jason White, Jim Johnson, Robert Cothran, Josh Balcewicz, Wesley Johnson, Bo Davis and Cody Davis.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Stephen Baldwin and local members of the Carpenter and Millwright Union Hall.
