Stephen "Steve" Hawkins

Stephen “Steve” Arthur Hawkins, age 71, passed away at his home in Hampshire, Tennessee, October 25, 2015.
Steve was born in Tacoma, Washington March 16, 1944 to the late James Patrick Hawkins and the late Virginia Coudre Hawkins. Steve was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Steve was a member at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 572 in Nashville, Tennessee for many years. Steve married his loving wife of 47 years in 1968. Together they had two daughters. Steve was a wonderful father and he was hands-on since their birth. He loved his girls and all of his grandchildren dearly. They meant the world to him. When he was not spending time with his family he was probably with his dog Sooner riding around in his Kawasaki Mule. Steve was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Steve is survived by: his wife: Terry Hawkins; daughters: Pam (Mickey) Hay of Columbia, TN and Donna (Ephraim) McClain of Hampshire, TN; grand children: Megan (James) Kelley, Isaac Hay, Allie, McClain, and Robby McClain. Great grand son: Hayden Kelley; and brother: Gerald (Barbara) Hawkins of Seattle, WA.
The family is having a private service at a later date.
