Mrs. Stella Goins Hooten, age 86, a former long-time resident of Lee Drive in Columbia passed away on Monday, March 5, 2007, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hooten will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Bob Rush officiating. Burial will follow in the Tottys Bend Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
She was the daughter of the late Laura Francis and the widow of Alvin Y. Hooten. She was a homemaker and member of Shady Grove Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Yvonne Alvin Brady of Fairview, TN, Ray Teresa Hooten of Lynnville, TN, Mike Barbara Hooten of Columbia, TN, Jim Valarie Hooten of Culleoka, TN and Harold Hooten of Lynnville, TN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Alvin Resel Hooten and a daughter, Iva Jean Hooten Wilkes.
Pallbearers will be family and friends of family.
