Kenneth Stanley Odom, age 74, passed away on February 9, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Stanley was born on February 5, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee to the late Floyd and Virginia Odom.
Stanley was a big outdoorsman. He loved to hunt all animals, fish as much as he could, tend to his garden, and ride around on 4 wheelers with family. He was a family man and could do everything with his family. He always enjoyed seeing his kids and grandchildren and great-grandchildren at all family events. Stanley was a member of the Sandy Hook Church of Christ and would enjoy telling stories in the pews at church. More than anything in this world he loved his wife Viola Odom, whom he would’ve been married to 55 years on February 11, 2022.
He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Stanley is preceded by his parents; son Kenny Odom; brother: Dayne Odom; and sister: Marilyn Owen.
Stanley is survived by the love of his life Viola Odom.; daughter: Dena (Ricky) Frazier; Grandchildren: Karissa Barnes, Michael (Stephanie) Odom, Kaleigh (Daniel) Clifton, and Haleigh Frazier; Greatgrandchildren: Kenna Sharpe, Kase Sharpe, Kirklyn Barnes, Kixx Clifton, Kaislyn Barnes, Kamreigh Clifton, and Jentry Peterson; a host of nieces and nephews; siblings: Sondra (Maybern) Runions, Lillie (Terry) Chapman, Christy (Darryl) Rochester, Lorey (Danny) Davis, Dorey (Danny) Cupples; Sister in law: Paula Odom; brother in law: Jackie Owen; Life long friend: Syd Williams.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Runions, Thad Runions, Joel Odom, Sammy Odom, Justin Cupples, Daniel Davis, Wayne Chapman, And Kenneth Allen Owen.
Special Friends and Honorary Pallbearers will be: Carl Workman, Jerry Lyons, Larry Odom, Buddy McKennon.
A visitation for Stanley will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home – Mt. Pleasant. A service will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home – Mt. Pleasant with Andy Pogue and Terry Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington in Mt. Pleasant.
