Stanley E. Ferguson, age 80, a resident of Haley Lane in Columbia passed away at December 25 at his residence
Funeral services for Mr. Ferguson will be conducted Monday December 28 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. William Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00-8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Born May 5, 1928 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late James and Gracie Ferguson and the husband of the late Mary Frances Frost Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a farmer, loved working on lawnmowers and cutting grass. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors inclued his children: Annie Walls John Whaley, Linda Chatman and James Kathy Ferguson, all of Pulaski, Carolyn Krist, Patsy Barry Sims and Mary Tim Owens, all of Columbia, Winnie Larry Coleman of Centerville, Tommy Barbara Ferguson and Freda Mosley, both of Hohenwald; 22 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Pallbearers will be David Keeling, Robert William Mosley, Troy Counts, Frank Chatman, Marty Chatman, Jason Mosley, Jonathan Mosley and John Whaley. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Graham and Tim Owens.
