Mr. Stan Young, 66 , a resident of Greens Mill Rd in Columbia passed away Friday, January 18, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services will be scheduled at a later time. Inurnment will be in the Nimrod Community Cemetery in Nimrod, Arkansas.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia will be in charge of the local arrangements.
The Nimrod, Arkansas native was the son of the late Hugh Young and Addie Morrow Young. He was the widowed of Suzanne Odom Young. Mr. Young had a Masters Degree in Chemistry and Biology and retired from Fisher Scientific in sales. He was a former Lab Tech at Maury Regional Hospital and was a member of Belmont Church in Nashville.
He is survived by his children: Amy Roy Byrd of Mesa, AZ, Patrick Laura Ralston of N Little Rock, AR and Scott Traci Young of Spring Hill, TN. ; grandchildren: Evatt, Barrett and Lewis Patrick Ralston of N Little Rock, AR, Grace Young, Zach Young and Micah Young all of Spring Hill, TN.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Highland Rim, 1412 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401.
