Mrs. Sophie Barnes, age 86, a resident of Hidden Acres in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, February 22 at Maury Regional Hospital.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Barnes will be conducted Monday, Feb. 26 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Rick Walters officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
Born in Massillon, OH, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Karras and Helen Kerastas Karras and the widow of Henry Barnes. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Barnes of Pulaski, and one son, Paul Barnes, of Las Vegas, NV.
