Mrs. Sidonia Marie Lissard Olivier, 88 , a resident of River Ridge , Louisiana, died Friday, September 30, 20o5 at NHC/Hillview Nursing Home.
A memorial service for Mrs. Olivier will be conducted Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Deacon Price Keller officiating. An Inurnment will be at a later date in New Orleans, Louisiana. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of the arrangements.
The Laureville, Louisiana native was the daughter of the late, Bernard C. Sr. and Bertha Gonsoulin Lissard and the wife of Marion G. Olivier of River Ridge, LA. Mrs. Olivier was a graduate R.N.of Mercy Hospital in New Orleans and a R.N. at West Jefferson General Hospital in Marrero, Louisiana, She collected dolls, enjoyed sewing , needle point and was a member of St. Matthew The Apostle Catholic Church in River Ridge, Louisiana.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Dianne M. Harold Battaglia of Houston, TX, Carolyn A. Lawrence Talamo of Perryville, LA and Toni G. Michael Sr. Brack of River Ridge, LA; a son, Marion G. ?Mac? Diane Olivier of Columbia, TN; one brother, Bernard C. Judy Lissard, Jr. of New Iberia, LA; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Mandella Lissard of New Iberia, LA; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry J. Lissard; a step-mother, Valrie Decuriem Lissard.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Middle Tennessee Regional Office, 4004 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 219B, Nashville, TN 37215.
