Shirley Poole Davidson

Mrs. Shirley Ann Poole Davidson, 65, died Sunday, December 29, 2002 at her residence on the Nashville Highway in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davidson will be conducted Thursday, January 2, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Russell Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Center Point Cemetery in Lawrence County. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late William and Mae Elizabeth Jones Poole. She was the wife of Wilburn Davidson of Columbia. She was a retired kiln operator from Union Carbide Corporation. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter; Juanita Davidson, of Columbia; one son; Jerry W. Davidson of Columbia, one sister; Alberta Casteel of Columbia, one brother; William Coletta Poole of Columbia, and several nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be William Poole, John Mooningham, Glenn Davidson, Lonnie Cates, Ricky Cates and Wayne Cates. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Calvary Baptist Church.
