Shirley Jean Norman

Shirley Floyd Norman, age 60 of the Porters Chapel community, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born December 15, 1952 to her parents Thelma Floyd and her father Ray who preceded her in death last Friday, March 8, 2013. She was married to the late Billy Norman. Shirley worked as a LPN for many years. She was also a member of the Porters Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children: Amy (Albert) Rich, Holly (Neil) Walker, and Ladella Grace Norman; grandchildren: Ali Jean Walker and Paul Thomas Walker; her mother: Thelma Floyd; Brother: Mike Floyd; nephew: Casey Floyd; cousins: Gay Floyd, Joy Roberts, Patty Trousdale, Debbie Floyd McKennon.
Funeral services for Mrs. Norman will be conducted Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 12 Noon with Pastor Bobby Gobble and Bro. J Hoppus officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday, March 18, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.

Jeff Buchanan, Dale Buchanan, Johnny Buchanan, Robby Daniels, Johnny Daniels, Casey Floyd and Tony Grooms will serve as the pallbearers.
