Shirley Ann Cummins

Mrs. Shirley Ann Cummins, age 80, a resident of Enterprise Road in Mt Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Mt Pleasant Health & Rehab Center.

Born September 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Sank Nichols and Mable Marshall Nichols. She was married to the late Robert Lee Cummins. Mrs. Cummins was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She owned and operated the store “Penny Pincher”. She was a member of Campbellsville church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, Enterprise softball and fishing the creeks in Campbellsville.

Mrs. Cummins is survived by her three sons; Danny (Marcia) Cummins, Bob (Kaye) Cummins and Jamey Cummins all of Mt Pleasant, sister; Peggy McNeece of Mt Pleasant, sister-in-law; Clara Baugus of Columbia, Tennessee, ten grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cummins will be conducted at 12:00 on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Mt Pleasant with Theodore Durham officiating. Interment will follow at Spencer Hill Cemetery. The Cummins Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Daniel Cummins, Wyatt Cummins, Aaron Cummins, Chad Cummins, Tommy Adams and Wade McNeece.

Honorary pallbearers are Steven Nichols and granddaughters.

Memorials may be made to the Spencer Hill Cemetery Fund.
