Sharon “Sherry” Luella Williams, age 71, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sharon was born on April 24, 1951, to the late Robert Lavern Jones and Mary Etta Warfield Jones in Lansing, Michigan.
Sharon worked for many years as a graphic artist and ad sales at Creative Graphics in Jackson, Michigan. She was a graduate of Parkside High School in 1969. She loved volunteering for her church, attending family gatherings, and serving with the National Day of Prayer Ceremony.
She enjoyed life, friends, and family. Often smiling and laughing, she could typically be found in the kitchen, peeling potatoes at a family function, often second-guessing if there was enough, inevitably making more than enough. She loved to dance, sing karaoke, and paint. She followed racing at all levels from local races at Butler Motor Speedway to NASCAR, cheering on #9, Awesome Bill from Dawsonville. She could be found on Saturdays, rooting for the Spartans.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Toby James Swager (Tracy); grandchildren: Gabriella Nicole Swager, Alexys Jade Ellen Swager; siblings: Theresa Clark, April Snow Craft, Mary Anne File Reilly (Henry); and many adoring nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by sisters Rosetta Warfield Martin and Helen Cleeves.
