Saundra "Sandy" Monroe

Saundra “Sandy” Monroe, 76, of Culleoka, TN and formerly of Allen Park, MI passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born on January 3, 1943 in Delray, MI to the late Vernon Ferris Binkley and Asalee Goodwin Binkley. Sandy and her husband, Gordon Monroe have been married for 57 years. She attended The First Family First Baptist Church of Columbia and was a member of the Forever Young small group. She also previously served on The “Weekender” Ministry. Sandy ran a daycare for over 30 years where she touched the lives of several children and their families. Sandy Loved the Lord, her family, and gospel music. She always made sure that her grandchildren knew that she and Jesus loved them. In addition to her Husband, Gordon, Sandy is survived by her Children, Keith (Nancy) Monroe, Kenneth (Jackie) Monroe, Kirk (Correna) Monroe, Brad Monroe, and Meghan Monroe; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
