Sarah Gregg York

Sarah Gregg York, age 94, passed away Sunday, November 3rd in Mt. Pleasant, TN.

Sarah was born May 20, 1919 in Giles County, to parents Lee Gregg and Mosie Lee “Harper” Gregg. She retired from Hay Long Elementary School Cafeteria and, was a member of the Sandy Hook Church of Christ.

Funeral Services for Sarah will be Tuesday, November 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Mt. Pleasant. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, November 5th from Noon until time of service. Bro. Jeff Waldrop will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will include: Randy Kennedy, Will Jaggers, Duane York, Philip York, Jerry York, Jr., Micah York, Austin York and James York.
Honorary Pallbearers will include: Jimmy McKennon, Earl Hayes, and the men of the Sandy Hook Church of Christ.

Sarah is survived by: Sons; Jerry (Linnie) York of Mt. Pleasant, TN, and Dwight (Katie) York of Columbia, TN, Daughter; Dot (Ray) Kennedy of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Daughter-in-law; Eva York of Florence, AL, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 10 great great-grandchildren.

Sarah is preceded in death by: Husband Conrad York & Son Leon York, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
