Sarah Hyatt Seagraves

Mrs. Sarah F. Hyatt Seagraves, 79, a resident of Robert Road in Columbia, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Seagraves will be conducted Saturday, August 3, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend J.O. Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. The family will visit with friends Friday from 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Howard and Alma Craig Hyatt. She was the widow of Joe Van Seagraves who died in 1974. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by 4 sons, Joe Seagraves, Samuel Carolyn Seagraves, and Richard Seagraves, Sr. all of Columbia and Roy Mariann Seagraves of Nolensville; a brother, William "Bill" Hyatt of Louisville, KY; 14 grandchildren and 18 Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Howard Seagraves, Sr. and Dudley Seagraves; 2 grandchildren, Connie Seagraves and Buttons Seagraves.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
