Sara Louise Whitaker

Mrs. Sara Louise Street Whitaker, age 54, a resident of Leipers Creek Road in Williamsport, passed away on Monday, November 23, at her residence.
Funeral services for Sara will be conducted Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson?s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Williamson County native was born January 3, 1955, the daughter of Sadie Brown Street of Columbia and the late Leamon Street, Jr. She was the wife of Paul ?Randy? Whitaker of Williamsport. Sara was a loving homemaker and was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include her children: Shawn Wendy Steinmetz of MI, Jeremiah Jones and Shane Jones, both of Washington state; sisters: Joan Randal Cason of Columbia, Jean Jim Bush Baysinger of Brentwood. Mary Everett Cason of Nashville and Stacey Troy Majors Doles of Spring Hill; one brother: Leamon ?Buster? Street III of Columbia; brothers-and-sisters-in-law: Mary Alice Hall of Hampshire, Marjorie Burns of Columbia, Robert Lee Whitaker of Unionville, Calvin Whitaker of Dickson and Clifford Whitaker of Lewisburg; two grandchildren: Charlie Rae Steinmetz and Jacob Steinmetz, both of MI; a foster child: Chris Adonis. She was preceded in death by one sister: Connie Simmons.
Pallbearers will be Robert William Hall, Robert Reed, Joe McNabb, Jamie Cason, Brian Street and Wiley Holder. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Clary, Phillip Morton and Clint Hall.
