Mrs. Sara Ann Spears, age 76, a resident of Nashville Road in Bowling Green, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 14, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.
Funeral services for Mrs. Spears will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 ? 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Mt. Pleasant native was the daughter of the late Seth and Ruby Bassham Gilmore and wife of the late Thomas J. ?Mose? Spears. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Chad Spears, Tiffany Spears and Sarah Beth Spears, all of Portland, TN; daughter-in-law, Sharon Spears of Portland, TN; brothers, Seth Gilmore Jr. of Bowling Green, KY, Frankie Gilmore of Woodburn, KY, Roger Gilmore and Tommy Gilmore, both of Hermitage, TN; a niece, Jackie Ricker of Bowling Green, KY; sisters-in-law, Wilma Chapman and Sandra Wright, both of Mt. Pleasant and Diane Lamb of Unionville; brothers-in-law, Jim Spears and Ronnie Spears, both of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas W. ?Kenny? Spears and sisters, Carolyn Rail, Johnette Terry and Tinesy Gilmore.
Pallbearers will be Chad Spears, Chris Ricker, Jimmy Peery, Tony Marshall, Deano Bassham and Eddie Bassham.
