Sandra "Sandy" Robinson Testerman, age 72, resident of Albert Matthews Road in Columbia, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Sandy was born on February 20, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan and was the daughter of Florence Hedrick Robinson of Brighton, Michigan and the late Myles Robinson. She was the wife of Larry V. Testerman, who preceded her in death on August 20, 2006, after being married for 38 years. She had worked as a school bus driver with the Brighton, Michigan Board of Education. Sandy enjoyed gambling, painting, playing computer games and loved mowing her grass. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
In addition to her mother, Sandy is survived by three daughters, Kari Johnny Daniels and Lori Bisalski both of Columbia and Pam Jimmy Keech of Detroit, Michigan; sister, Carol Stevenson of Dansville, Michigan; three brothers, Douglas Charmaine Robinson of Daytona, Florida, Robin Robinson and Tim Robinson both of Detroit, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, Timothy, Kelsey, Madison, Randy, Erin, Lindsey, Zack and Candace all of Columbia, Sandra of Alabama, Eddie and Cherrie both of Brighton, Michigan; and 6 great-grandchildren, Promise, Aurora, Sierra and Caydence all of Alabama, Rileigh and Layla both of Columbia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Testerman will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Entombment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The Testerman Family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Daniels, Zachary Daniels, Brice Hord, Ricky Hardiman, Robin Robinson and Rene` Morales.
