Sandra Kaye Simmons Swarr, age 81, passed away on June 2, 2022, at NHC Place at the Trace in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sandra was born on September 2, 1940, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to the late Lester Simmons and Marian Wolfe Simmons.
Sandra was in the graduating class of 1958 at J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Later she worked for the Lancaster County Purchasing Dept. and the Lancaster County Sheriff's Dept. in the 1970s. She then worked for Service America for 15 years.
Sandra had a unique sense of humor. She enjoyed making all sorts of jokes and puns to make people laugh.
Sandra treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She loved being surrounded by her family.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Larry Swarr; and sister, Lorna Simmons Nolt.
Sandra is survived by two daughters, Virginia Youmans (Sergio), Christine Dente (Scott); son, David Swarr (Amy); 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
