Sandra Doster Shires, age 70, resident of Columbia, passed away on March 6, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Sandra was born March 6, 1947, in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of the late Charles B. Doster and Mary John Wilson Doster. She had worked for Bell South as an electronic tech for 40 years. Sandra was passionate about caring for people. She loved British TV and reading murder mysteries. Her kind disposition led her to always put others above herself.
Survivors include her daughters, Michelle (Lawrence) Sterlingshires and Lana (Jon) Compton, both of Columbia and Regina (Jason) Adams of Gilbert, AZ; grandchildren, Anastasia Troi Tomsic, Summer Compton, Sean Tomsic and Aiden Compton; and her long-time partner in crime, Michael T. Shires.
