Sandra Darlene Oliver

Sandra Darlene Oliver, age 78, of Columbia, TN passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021. Sandra a lifelong resident of Maury County was born alongside her twin sister Landra Holder Hill on February 7, 1943, to the late Clint Holder and Leon Bonnie Davis Brumley.


Sandra was a woman with a kind heart and giving spirit. For over 30 years Sandra provided child care to friends, family, and other families in the Maury County area, where she helped raise numerous children. When she was taking some time for herself she enjoyed, indulging in a good book particularly a good romance mystery novel. She would also keep her mind sharp working word searches and puzzles. Sandra would cheer the Atlanta Braves on if they were playing, or guess along as she watched the price is right, but she truly loved the cooking shows and Walker Texas Ranger. Sandra spent her life dedicated to not only her own family but many others. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Sandra will be dearly missed by all who knew her.


Sandra is survived by her daughters: Michelle Oliver, Kristie (Mark) Clemons; grandchildren: Hillary Oliver, Daniel Clemons, and Emily Clemons; and great-granddaughter: Madison Harwell. She is preceded in death by her husband: Herman R. Oliver; her parents; her loving stepfather: Leon Brumley and Twin Sister: Landra Holder Hill.


The family will visit with friends: Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Columbia, TN.


Pallbearers will be: Mark Clemons, Daniel Clemons, Mike Dawson, Jimmy Parrish, William Davis.
