Sandra Joy Mercer, age 75, resident of Union Place, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at her residence.
Sandra was born January 27, 1937 in Queens, New York, the daughter of the late Floyd Gunderson and Isabel Dalmas Cash. Sandra was a homemaker most of her life and was devoted to her Christian faith.
Survivors include her children, Bernard Wistreich III of San Diego, Calif., Lisa Scott Bondegard of Columbia, Peter Mercer of Hollywood, Fla., Richard Mercer and Anthony Mercer, both of Columbia and Susanne Jeffrey Remelius of Kalamazoo, Mich., 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren along with her partner in life, Robert D. Mercer of Maine.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with their arrangements.
