Mr. Samuel W. ?Billy? Hendrix, 45, husband of Melissa Cantrell Hendrix, died Monday November 17, 2003 at his residence on East 17th Street in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mr. Hendrix will be conducted Wednesday November 19, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Reverend J. Daniel Vannoy and Chaplin Gloria Watts officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Giles County native was the son of Pearl Ball Hill of Columbia TN and the late Tommy Hendrix. He was a supervisor at Kasbar. He attended the Pentecostal Church of Christ and a special thanks to Hospice of Highland Rim.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Misty Andres Rick of Columbia, TN and Laurie Robert Edwards of Ashland City, TN; four sons, Michael Marty Hendrix and Stephen Hendrix both of Columbia, Ray Tina Thomson of Denver, Col, Coby Thomson of Columbia, TN; eight grandchildren, Samantha Thomson of Columbia, TN, Sam Thomson , Jacob Thomson , Casey Thomson and Tyler Thomson all of Denver CO, Andrew Rich, Jr. , Brice Hendrix and Brent Hendrix all of Columbia, TN; two sisters, Jodie Bobby Brown of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Geneva Jim Miller of Columbia, TN.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis Hill and James Hendrix.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Rich, Larry Wright, Dan Fisher, Jim Miller , Eddy Gray and Jr. Graham.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Kasbar.
