Samuel Lee Temple

Samuel Lee Temple, age 73, passed away on February 13, 2022, at Countryside Healthcare.
Sam was born on October 9, 1948, in Greene County, Pennsylvania to the late Francis and Emma Temple.
Sam loved spending time outdoors. He loved the mountain air of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Rock Island, and Iowa. Sam was also a big western fan. More than anything, Sam loved his beloved pets.
Sam was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.
“Don’t cry for me, when I get where I’m going, on the far side of the sky, I’ll leave my heart wide open, I’ll be okay, Don’t cry for me! I will love and have no fear. I have seen my last tomorrow when tomorrow starts without me. Remember me in your heart and know I am FREE!”
Sam was preceded by his parents; brother: Gene Temple; sister: Frances Krichbaum Leamer; Brother: Bill Temple; and nephew: Tim Krichbaum
Sam is survived by his friend, caregiver, and companion: Jackie Temple Garrett; son: Chris Temple Garland; stepdaughter: Cindy Cunnyingham; brothers: John Temple; sister: Linda and Mary; nieces: Tammy and Brenda Krichbaum and Shelly Leamer; and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all those who was his friend and to the Countryside Staff.
