Samiyah Rainiqua Powell

Samiyah Rainiqua Powell, infant daughter of Gary Powell, Sr. and April Grandberry Powell passed away into the arms of Jesus on March 10, 2013.
Samiyah was born in Columbia, Tennessee on December 20, 2012 and was loved dearly by her family. She was a beautiful baby girl.
In addition to her parents, Samiyah is survived by her siblings: Arontrez Powell, Gionno Powell, Kazabrieon Grandberry, Jalasia Grandberry, Janiyah Grandberry,
Gary Powell Jr. and Gacari Powell; grandparents: Ollie Grandberry (Troy Martin), Kevin (Tonya Kennedy) Grandberry, Sr., Wanda Powell and Gary Bumpous; great grandmother: Charlene Grandberry; aunts and uncles: Nelson (Jessica) Grandberry, Kevin Grandberry, Jr., Katrina (Adrian) Walker, Erica Powell, Selena Powell, Tanisha Cannon, Brent Vester and Aaron Walker along with several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services for Samiyah will be held in the Arbors at Polk Memorial Gardens on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Carl McCullen officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Angels at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Tamontez Grandberry and Adrian Powell will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Kendrick Grandberry, Qua’Veon Powell, Andre Walker and Isaiah Grandberry.
