Sally Badia passed away on July 7, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. She was born on October 29, 1938, to the late Jay and Virginia Warner.
Sally proudly served her country as a medic in the United States Army, where her dedication and compassion for others left a lasting impact. Known for her independent and free-willed spirit, Sally lived life on her own terms. She found joy in solving crossword puzzles, spending time shopping, and decorating her home with a creative touch. Her green thumb was evident in the beautiful plants she nurtured, and her love for her cats brought her immense happiness.
Sally was a true jokester, always ready with a witty remark or a funny story to share. Her sense of humor and ability to bring joy to others will be remembered fondly. Sally's vibrant personality, love for life, and the warmth she extended to everyone around her will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind a legacy of independence, laughter, and love. Sally's memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Sally is survived by her daughters: Deanna (Larry) Cole and Sandy (Dave) Dorow); grandchildren: Shannon, Justin, Stephanie, Avery, Veriah, Shane, Falon, Teagan; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Sally is preceded by her parents; husband: Ray Badia; children: Troy Blackwell and Tracy Heming; and father of her children: Peter Blackwell.
A memorial gathering for Sally will be held from 2:00 Pm to 6:00 PM at Williams funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with military honors at 2:00 PM
