Mrs. Sadie Mae Whitley Hancock, age 68, a resident of Thomas Avenue in Columbia, passed away on Monday, February 8 at NHC/Hillview Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hancock will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 10 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Rev. Dave Zigler and Rev. Bob Adair officiaitng. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born December 16, 1941 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Nellie Maddox Whitley and the wife of the late Franklin D. "Frank" Hancock. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the Fox news channel, game shows and anything sports related. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Hancock is survived by her sons: Frank Selena Hancock and David Stephanie Hancock, both of Columbia; grandchildren: Ethan Jacob Hancock, Brandy Carol Hancock, Joshua Hayden Hancock, Samuel Greg McNichols and Ashley Elaine Fenwick; great grandchildren: Lukazy Ethaniel Fenwick, Amy Fenwick and Alexis McNichols; brothers: Wilburm Tommie Whitley Jr., Otis Mildred Whitley and Bennie Whitley, all of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her son: Ricky "Little Rick" Hancock.

Pallbearers will be Roscoe Brannon, Jimmy Butler, Brian Hunt, Gerald Matlock, Alan McCandless and Robert Shephard.
