Ruth Sharon Sharp Scott

Ruth Sharon Sharpe Scott, age 60 and former resident of Thomas Circle in Mt. Pleasant, passed away at her residence Thursday, January 19, 2012 following her courageous fight with an extended illness.
Ruth was born February 8, 1951. She spent most of her time with her daughter and grandkids. Ruth loved reading and working puzzles. She also enjoyed her time she worked at the Senior Center in Mt. Pleasant.
The family will accept friends and family into the Williams Funeral Home chapel in Mt. Pleasant Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. until Noon, a graveside service will be held following the visitation at 1:00 P.M at Arlington Cemetery with Ricky Gray and Randy McNeece officiating.
Ruth leaves behind her daughter to carry on her legacy: Amy David Thurman Scott; three grandchildren: Hannah Christine Scott, Jhase Edward Scott, Kylie Ambrielle Grace Scott Patterson; children she spoke of as her own grandchildren: Meagan, Jacob, and Haily Thurman; one brother: Harold Susan Sharpe; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Clyde and Lucy Sharpe; two brothers: Tommy Sharpe and Jimmy Katherine Sharpe; and the long time love of her life: Claude Edward Sharpe.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Sharpe, Phillip Sharpe, Perry Dugger, Ricky Lemay, Martin Scott, and Chris Clark.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Cates, Michael Russell, Andrew Gray, Cody Sharpe, Alex Cervantes, and Mt. Pleasant Senior Citizens Center,.
The family would like to share a special thank you to MRMC Staff, Dr. Reinhardt, Dr. Richardson, Dr. Choksi, and all of the helpful nurses at Core Physicians.
Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
