Ruth Savage Prince

Mrs. Ruth Savage Prince, 83, wife of Walker Prince and a resident of the Cathey?s Creek Community, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Prince will be conducted Friday, June 18, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with David D. Davidson officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from Thursday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Irene Rice Savage. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cathey?s Creek Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lynn Ronnie Johnson of Hampshire, TN and Jenny Louise Prince of Nashville, TN; a son, Thomas ?Tommy? Walker Prince of Nashville, TN; a granddaughter, Amanda Johnson of Murfreesboro, TN; a sister, Reba Savage of Hampshire, TN. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Susan Prince.
Pallbearers will be Dan Shannon, Roy Shannon, Ronnie Johnson, Kenneth Travis, Sr., Joe Sam Savage, Barry Prince, Wayne Prince and Donald Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Cathey?s Creek Church of Christ, William Bates, and Robert Green.
Memorials may be made to the Cedar Hill Cemetery, c/o Doug Garner, 3524 Hampshire Pike, Hampshire, Tennessee 38461.
