Mrs. Ruth Davis Hobbs, 77 , a resident of Clark Road in Lewisburg, died Saturday, February 5, 2005 in Columbia.

Funeral service for Mrs. Hobbs will be conducted Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Bob Adair officiating. Burial will be in the Ring Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of Ruby Davis Loftin of Columbia and the late Thomas Oscar Davis. She was the wife of Robert L. ?Bobby? Hobbs of Lewisburg and they were married in 1973 in a completely loving and devotional unity to each other. Mrs. Hobbs was a homemaker and in the 1960?s she was owner and operator of Riverside Café. She was an avid animal lover, loved farming and gardening and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by, three nieces and a nephew, Vicki Chip Gray of Chapel Hill, TN, Marlene John Kirk of Columbia, TN, Brian Tracy Pullum of Lewisburg, TN and Christy Brian Bennett of Columbia, TN; many great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother- in- law, Bobbie and Bill Gray; a niece, Gloria Gray Thomas.

Pallbearers will be John Kirk, Brian Bennett, Jimmy Reagan, Michael Ring, Johnny Kirk, Bill Martin, Reed Freels and Charles Allen.

Honorary pallbearers will Marvin Bradley, Richard Farnsley, John L. Ring, Jr. Beard, Charlie Ball, Tom Prince, Milton White, Charles Love and Shorty Clark.
