Ruth A. Cantrell

Mrs. Ruth Harris Cantrell, age 73, resident of Hidden Acres Drive in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cantrell will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Danny Laster officiating. Inurnment will be in Polk Memorial Gardens at a later date.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Born in Buford, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Harris and Eula Nuna Harris. She was a homemaker and a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors include her daughters: Debra Hackerson of San Antonio, TX , Carol Leigh Westlake of Boston, MA, Penny Dennis Hamilton of Aztec, NM and Lynn Hackerson of Dallas, TX; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; one sister: Grace Harris House of Buford, GA; two brothers: Ray Harris of Buford, GA and John R. Harris of Logansville, GA. She as preceded in death by one son: Randy Cantrell.
