Russell "Rusty" Price, age 31, resident of Hollandale Circle in Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, at Maury Regional Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Columbia with Pastor Pete Tackett and Pastor Rick Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 3:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
The Giles County native was the son of Bro. William Neal Price and Mary E. Sisk Price of Pulaski. He was the husband of Misty Dawn Collins Price of Columbia. Rusty was the Financial Analyst for the Black Gospel label at EMI Christian Gospel Music in Brentwood. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia.
Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include his children: Derek Taylor Price, Brayden Alexander Price and Annalee Britton Price; one brother: Robert Daniel Michele D. Price of Good Springs; one nephew: William Dakota Price of Good Springs; maternal grandmother: Rhasye Dale Price of Hohenwald; mother and father-in-law: Denise Jeffrey W. Collins of Columbia; brother-in-law: Steven Collins of Columbia; grandmother and grandfather-in-law: June Kenneth Brown of Columbia. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Johnson, Patrick O'Neal, Lee Clark, Tedd Comerford, John Cook, Moto Thurman and Jason Heath.
Memorials may be made in honor of his children at First Baptist Church, 2790 Pulaski Highway, Columbia, TN 38401.
