Ruby M. Black Tennyson

Mrs. Ruby M. Black Tennyson , 74, a resident of Cross Valley Drive in Columbia, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tennyson will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ on the Williamsport Pike with Reverend Rudy Thrasher and Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home.
The Limestone County, Alabama native was the daughter of the late Will and Myra Wells Black. She was retired from Lasko Metal Products and member of the Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy D. Sherry Tennyson and Bobby D. Beverly Tennyson both of Columbia; a sister, Lesie James Stockard of Columbia; three brothers, James "Jack" Carol Black of Mt. Pleasant, John Black and Kenneth Black both of Columbia; three grandchildren, Amanda Brent Smith of Walkerton, Indiana, Stephanie David Pagan and April Eric Redd both of Columbia; four great grandchildren, Christian Smith, Christiana Smith, Jazmin Pagan, and Briley Redd.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Ray Owens, Dennis Owens, Donald Lewis, Kenneth Jenkins, Mentor Willis, and Keith Redd. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ and the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 1212 Columbia, TN 38402.
