Ruby Kennedy Scott

Mrs. Ruby Kennedy Scott, age 80, a resident of Castalian Springs, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 31, at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
Gravesides service for Mrs. Scott will be conducted Thursday, June 3rd at 10:00 A.M. in the Arlington Cemetery with Brother Ricky Gray and Rick Points officiating.
The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
Born April 9, 1930 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest "Toots" and Artie Mae Brown Kennedy. She was retired as a custodian at Vol State Community College in Gallatin, TN. Ruby was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include a son: Phillip "Phil" Anita Scott of Castalian Springs; three sisters and two brother: Jeanne Johnson of Lewisburg, TN, Ann Gunter of LaFayette, TN, William Kennedy of Maryland, Donnie Dickey Faught of Mt. Pleasant and Jerry Ellen Kennedy of the Sandy Hook Community; grandchildren: Scarlett Rosemary Scott and Willis Austin Willie Scott of Gallatin; one great- grandchild Macy Lynn Scott all of Gallatin, TN. She was preceded in death a sister, Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Gray.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Gray, Kevin Kennedy, Mark Faught, Michael Gaddes, David Faught and Ricky Gray.
Honorary Pallbearers will be J.W. Johnson, Danny Steely, Gene Reid, Dickey Faught, Gary Bailey and Danny "Jap" Evetts.
Memorials donations may be made for the Ruby Scott memorialization at Arlington Cemetery, P.O. Box 38, Columbia,
TN 38402.
