Mrs. Ruby Kannon McCollum, age 97, a resident of Campbellsville Pike, passed away Saturday, August 22 at Life Care Center In Columbia.
Funeral services for Mrs. McCollum will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Stan Breeden officiating. Burial will follow in Reece Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was born on July 29, 1912, daughter of the late Robert and Susie Walker Kannon. She was the wife of the late Charles Ricketts and the late Earl McCollum. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia.
Survivors include her son: John Ricketts of Columbia; her daughter: Linda Bill Cheatham of Columbia; her grandchildren: Bryant Suzanne Cheatham of Spring Hill, Bruce Brandy Cheatham, Brandon Cheatham and Benton Summer Cheatham, all of Columbia and Lindsay Zed Woodley of Memphis; great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Lunn, Payton Allen, Keely Allen, Isabelle Cheatham, Kannon Cheatham and Cullen Cheatham.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Cheatham, Bruce Cheatham, Brandon Cheatham, Benton Cheatham, Zed Woodley, Tim Ramsey and John Boyd Cothran.
