Mrs. Ruby Dean Harden Harris, 70, a resident of Marrow Lane in Columbia, died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at Life Care Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be conducted Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango and Judge Jimmy Matthews officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. and after 12:00 noon on Thursday, at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Robert Harden and Violet Staggs Harden Bible and wife of Robert L. ?Bobby? Harris. She was retired from General Electric and former co-owner of Jolly Boy Restaurant on N. High Street in Columbia. She was a member of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Wanda Blade and Deborah Kay Marion Hill, both of Columbia and Lana Dean Terry Beard of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, Bobby Regina Hooks of Pulaski, Bethany Kay Eddleman of Culleoka, Matthew Harris Valori Hill of Columbia, Halie Lenora Hill of Culleoka and Christopher Chase Beard of Lawrenceburg; two great grandchildren, Savannah Marie Hill of Columbia and Morgan Lee Hooks of Pulaski; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Mangrum; five brothers, Allen Russell Harden, McKinley Harden, Tommy Harden, Hubert ?Buddy? Harden, and Albert Harden. Pallbearers will be Dennis Scroggins, Roger Kelley, Steve Mangrum, Wendell Harris, Allen Harris, Tim Bailey, Buddy Harden, and Bud Blade. Honorary pallbearer, lifelong friend Judge Jimmy Matthews.
